The class will consist of a demonstration of how to make a batch of soap using a crockpot. Each student will be given paper instructions that we have gone over in class as well as their own personal mold of soap to bring home. We will be wearing gloves when making the coal soap as the soap will still be hot. Please be aware that if children are present, I may request that an adult handle the soap to mold it into coal.
Before class, dress in clothes that you do not mind getting dirty. We work with oils, and it can stain your clothes. Have hair pulled back and take off any rings or bracelets you have on.
Note: You CANNOT use the soap immediately. The soap needs to be cured. There is a waiting period of 4-6 weeks before the soap is ready to be used. Right in time for the holiday!

We need to plan ahead how many coal soaps to make thus we will need a headcount. Please email Alina to reserve your spot. Venmo is accepted.
