Thursday In Clinton (And Nearby): Getting Ready For Heritage Days! Carnival! And Pearl And The Beard.

There are lots of volunteers working hard in Clinton this week to get ready for the Heritage Day Celebration coming up! Check out all the activitiesΒ at the bottom of this story.Β 

The Rotary Carnival starts Thursday at 5 p.m. at Academy Field! Check out the link below for all of the details. Also on Thursday night, you can check outΒ Pearl and the Beard, another in a free series of concerts being offered by Madison Beach Hotel. The link for that is below as well.Β

Our festivities will begin Saturday morning 9:30 a.m. with a Smudging ceremony demonstration.Β  The smudging ceremony and calling of the ancestors is what the Native American Indians would have done before any festivity would start to bring success to the celebration.
