Volunteers Needed 'National Wreaths Across America Day' Annual Event, Saturday December 13th
Saturday, December 13th Join Over 3 million Vounteers for 'National Wreaths Across America Day' in Old Saybrook

Old Saybrook, CT - -- Old Saybrook will once again proudly join with local residents and
businesses in the National Wreaths Across America Day on Saturday, December
13th, 2025, by laying remembrance wreaths on the local graves of our country's
fallen heroes at cemeteries throughout the town.
Max Sabrin, the Local Coordinator for Wreaths Across America, says volunteers are needed to place wreaths on 800 veteransβ gravesites on Saturday, December 13th, starting at 10:30 a.m., followed by a
brief ceremony at 12 Noon on the Town Green in Old Saybrook. Gravesites in Old Saybrook needing volunteers include Riverside Cemetery at 59 Sheffield Street (across from the Middle School), Cypress Cemetery at 100 College Street, Upper Cemetery on North Main Street (across from the Monkey Farm restaurant), and St. John Cemetery at Old Middlesex Turnpike/Mill Rock Road.
