2 Motorists Hospitalized Following 3-Car Accident In Danbury
First responders found one car flipped over on its side, and two motorists trapped inside their vehicles.
DANBURY, CT — Two motorists were hospitalized following a 3-car accident on Route 7 in Danbury.
Danbury Fire and EMS crews, along with units from Connecticut State Troop A, were called to the area near Danbury Airport for a multi-vehicle accident at 10:35 a.m. Monday.
First responders found two motorists trapped inside their cars, and a vehicle flipped on its side. Firefighters had to use the "jaws of life" to remove the motorists pinned within their rides.

Danbury EMS crews took the injured motorists to the hospital, while the state troopers conducted the investigation.
Northbound traffic was reduced to one lane, and that was re-opened within the hour, according to the DPD.
