Mayor Roberto L. Alves announced today that his re-election campaign has raised $203,700 to date, indicating broad support throughout Danbury and Connecticut, signaling growing momentum for Mayor Alves’ re-election.

“Danbury is on the move and our campaign is putting in the work to keep it moving forward,” said Mayor Roberto L. Alves. “We’re prioritizing public safety and infrastructure, strengthening our schools, and making sure every taxpayer dollar is used wisely and responsibly. This kind of support shows that people believe in the results we’re delivering and the future we’re building. We’re not here to coast, we’re here to fight for a Danbury that is stable, thriving, and full of opportunity.”

In 2021, the Alves campaign raised $180,330 in total. In 2023, that figure rose to $276,202. This election year’s early fundraising total is a clear signal that support for Mayor Alves and the Democratic team is stronger than ever, as Danbury residents rally around steady, honest, responsible, people-focused leadership.
