Danbury Police Investigate Early Morning Crash On South Street That Injured 5
Danbury police are investigating a South Street crash that injured five people and closed the road for several hours early Saturday.
DANBURY, CT — Danbury police are investigating an early morning motor vehicle crash that injured five people and temporarily closed South Street.
Police spokesperson Erin Henry said officers responded around 5:20 a.m. Dec. 13 to the area of 114 South St., where a vehicle had struck a utility pole. The driver and four passengers were taken to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
South Street was closed for several hours as the Danbury Police Department’s Accident Investigation Team examined the scene. The roadway was reopened after the investigation was completed.
