Citizen Complaints Lead To Drug Trafficking Arrest: Danbury Police

Police executed a search warrant at the accused's apartment stemming from a weeks long investigation.

DANBURY, CT — A local man was arrested after weeks of investigation into drug trafficking activity in Danbury, according to Danbury Det. Lt. Mark Williams. William Albers, 47, of Coalpit Hill Rd. was arrested following citizen complaints that he was selling drugs in the city.

Police executed a search warrant at the home of Albers and Sheila Servidio-Pollen Friday, and arrested Albers at the corner of Town Hill Ave. and South St. Before stopping Albers, they saw him conduct a drug transaction with Mark Lamoureaux, 21, of Danbury.

Police later searched the Coalpit Hill Rd. Apartment and found illegal drugs and other paraphernalia at his home.

Albers was charged with narcotics possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Lamoureaux was charged with the sale of narcotics. Both men were released on promises to appear.
