Cortni Marie Gassett-Fitch, 26, of Danbury, Passed Away

Danbury, CT — Cortni Marie Gassett-Fitch, 26, of Danbury, passed away July 4, 2016, with her family by her side. She attended Bethel Schools and was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 100.

She is survived by her husband Jesse Fitch, her daughter Aubrey Rose Szast who was the light of her life, stepson Skylar Fitch, her mother Cori Gassett and partner Stacey Faust whom she considered her Dad, her sisters Jasmine Fay and Desiree McDonald, her maternal grandmother Joan Tarrant, paternal grandmother Pat Murone, several, aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews. Cortni was predeceased by her father Jeffrey S. Gassett and grandfather Joseph William Tarrant III.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 24th at Christ Church Parish, in Redding, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to The Women's Center of Danbury, 2 West St., Danbury, CT 06810 or the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 100, 7 Elizabeth St., Bethel, CT 06801.
