Danbury Dad, Veteran Dressed As Famous Paintings During COVID Lockdown

DANBURY, CT— Father's Day is the perfect time to give a big thanks to all the dads who put smiles on our faces. Danbury, meet Robert Reynolds.

What makes your dad extra special?

My papa is 99 years old and I am his full-time caregiver. He is the kindest and silliest man I know. I was born laughing and still have belly laughs every day with this man. During COVID isolation to pass the time he let me dress him up as famous paintings and some are hysterical! He helped me care for my mom/his wife for years and never complained. He is a veteran/Air Force pilot and always puts others first. He is shy and humble and if you are his friend, then you know you are the luckiest person in the world.

Why do you feel your dad deserves the spotlight?

He served our country, cared for his ailing wife, took on the mom and dad role when my mom passed away and never asks for anything in return.
