Danbury Drug Dealer Found With Stolen Merchandise: Police

Police say the woman and her ex boyfriend were arrested as a result of a weeks long investigation.

DANBURY, CT — Two city residents were arrested Thursday after weeks of investigation into drug dealing activity, according to Danbury Police. Nicole Maria Crutchfield, 31, and her ex-boyfriend Jacinto Andrade, 50, were arrested following investigation into Crutchfield's alleged drug trafficking.

Police said that they stopped Crutchfield at 7:15 p.m. as she parked her car in a parking lot near her home. She was found with a "substantial sum of money," drug paraphernalia, a car full of "suspected stolen retail merchandise," and shoplifting tools.

Investigators later searched her apartment and found Andrade in an attic bedroom, with heroin in his possession in a room "littered with drug paraphernalia," police said.

Both were charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were arrested on a promise to appear in court.
