Danbury Pair Charged in Attempted Mall Car Burglary

Danbury Police charge two in burglary.

Danbury Police charged Christian Williams, 25, Houseman Street, Danbury, with third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary and criminal attempt to commit third-degree burglary at 11:50 p.m. Friday. Police said Williams and a partner were attempting to steal a car at the Danbury Fair mall. At the same time, Danbury Police charged Jazzie Zanferdano, 21, Boxwood Lane, Danbury, with conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary and criminal attempt to commit third-degree burglary. Zanferdano was held on a $5,000 bond. Williams was held on a $10,000 bond.

In an unrelated case, Danbury Police charged Calvin Serva, 25, Ashe Place, Danbury, with third-degree assault, breach of the peace, harassment and third-degree burglary at 9 a.m. Saturday. Serva was held on a $50,000 bond for an appearance in Danbury Superior Court Monday.

Danbury Police provided this information. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
