Danbury Police: Bar Burglary on Ives Street

Four men busted after bar burgled.

Officers responded to the area of Tower Place in reference to several males who just burglarized Lush Bar, which is located at 2 Ives St., Danbury. The call came in at 10:12 p.m. Wedneday. A witness notified officers they saw the men smash out the window of the bar and enter it. They then observed the men leave the bar carrying several bottles of alcohol. Officers located: Joshua Adames, 19, Danbury, Jason A. Perez, 20, Danbury, Abraham R. Muniz, 23, Danbury, and Tavon L. Hughes, 22, Danbury. Police found the stolen bottles with the men. All four were charged with third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, conspiracy to commit second-degree criminal mischief, sixth-degree larceny, and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. Joshua Adames is currently being held on a $2,500. Tavon Hughes is currently being held on a $5,000 bond. Abraham Muniz is currently being held on a $25,000 bond. Jason Perez is currently being held on a $1,000 bond.
