
Danbury police charged Alvin Williams, 47, with first-degree robbery Wednesday, for robbing the Green Island Jamaican Restaurant at knife-point.
Wednesday's White Street robbery came four days after a man fitting the same description, also threatening employees with a knife, robbed Citgo on White Street. It came three days after a similar man robbed the Main Street Subway Sandwich Shop, also at knife-point. Williams is being held on a $500,000 bond. Further charges are pending.
This information was provided by the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
