Danbury Police are investigating a fatal car crash that happened at 2:19 p.m. Saturday on the ring road at the Danbury Fair mall. Police said the driver lost control of a 1995 Honda Civic while traveling at a high rate of speed after hitting the curb. Both the driver and passenger were transported to Danbury Hospital with injuries. The passenger died. Danbury Police declined to release the names, pending notifications. Police are asking any witnesses to call Sgt. Rory DeRocco at 203-797-2157.
