Danbury Police Investigating Two Armed Robberies

Police said two similar armed robberies took place within minutes of each other on Sunday between 11:45 p.m. and midnight.

Danbury Police are investigating two armed robberies that occurred within moments of each other. Danbury Police Officers met with a victim at 11:45 p.m. Sunday who said that he was robbed by gunpoint on Mourning Place. The victim stated he was approached by two dark skin males. The suspects demanded his money and jacket. One suspect pulled out a dark handgun. The suspects then took off on foot with an undisclosed amount of money and the jacket.

Police said they were then called to Bells Lane at 11:50 p.m. Sunday for a robbery complaint. The victims said they were approached by two dark skin males. The suspects demanded the victims' car keys and money. One suspect then pulled out a black handgun and stuck it into the victims neck. The suspects then took the victims' money and struck one in the face with the gun. The suspects then took off on foot.
