Danbury Police: Man Hops Counter, Grabs Cash, Caught Outside Home
Danbury Police charged a city man with grabbing money from a gas station cash register.

A man jumped over the counter at Danbury One Stop, 276 White St., grabbed cash from the register and fled. Police found him hiding in the woods behind his apartment at 9 Beaverbrook Road. Police charged Daniel Maze, 39, with third-degree robbery, and held him on a $10,000 bond. He was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday.
