A man jumped over the counter at Danbury One Stop, 276 White St., grabbed cash from the register and fled. Police found him hiding in the woods behind his apartment at 9 Beaverbrook Road. Police charged Daniel Maze, 39, with third-degree robbery, and held him on a $10,000 bond. He was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday. This information was provided by the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
