The Danbury Police Department received a report of a serious motor vehicle collision at 4:16 p.m. Monday on Briarwood Drive. The operator, Dionicio Paulino, of Danbury, was driving a 2007 Yamaha YZFR1 in the area of 10 Briarwood Drive. As Paulino was entering a slight left hand curve he lost control of the motorcycle. Paulino struck a parked vehicle, causing serious physical injury to himself. Paulino was transported to Danbury Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
