Danbury police charged Carlos Soliz, 28, Second Avenue, Danbury, with third-degree assault and breach of the peace Wednesday.
Police said the victim asked Soliz to move his car because Soliz parked in the victim's assigned parking spot. Police said the pair argued, and Soliz struck the victim in the face. Soliz was held on a $1,000 bond for an appearance scheduled for May 28.
