Danbury Police are looking for information about a bizarre accident in which a truck ran over a man laying on White Street before 5 a.m. Thursday. Police said the driver, Gregorio Garcia of New Milford, was operating a Hino Hin Flatbed Wrecker eastbound, told police he didn't see the man in time to avoid hitting him. The victim, David Norocinsji, was on the road when the truck hit him. He was taken to Danbury Hospital in critical condition. Anyone who saw this accident near Bates Place just before 5 a.m. Thursday should contact Sgt. Rory DeRocco, who heads the traffic division at the Danbury Police Department. DeRocco can be reached at 203-797-2157.
