Dog Freed From Bath Tub In Danbury

The pup's foot was caught in the drain of a bathtub, firefighters say.

DANBURY, CT — Firefighters quickly acted to save a dog after its foot got stuck in a tub drain Tuesday, according to the Danbury Fire Department.

A Facebook post indicated firefighters responded to a Main Street residence in order to aid the dog while it's foot was stuck.

"Squad 1 is seen here utilizing the Dremel tool to remove the plumbing parts from the dogs foot while the owner comforts the dog," read the post. "The dog was successfully rescued without injury."

With delicate precision, firefighters used a Dremel tool to remove the plumbing parts and safely free the pooch from the drain.

With it's owner by its side, the firefighters were able to remove the pup's foot safely.
