Driver Freed From Overturned Vehicle In Danbury: Fire

Firefighters responded to a crash on Ball Pond Road Thursday morning.

DANBURY, CT — A driver was hospitalized after he was extricated from a vehicle on Ball Pond Road Thursday morning. The Danbury Fire Department said firefighters had to remove the windshield of the car in order to remove the driver.

The driver was transported to Danbury Hospital. The Daily Voice reports the crash occurred around 7:15 a.m. and Ball Pond Road was closed due to the crash.
