Edison Triumph Phonograph at Tag Sale Friday

In what Michael Seaman is calling an Eclectic mix of yesterday, Seaman appears to be selling an Edison Triumph Phonograph with 13 cylinders at his Danbury tag sale Friday.

Seaman didn't mention any price tag he might have in mind, but on Google, a Money magazine article dating back to 1988, said such a phonograph could be worth as much as $800, and each cylinder could sell for $5 to $10.

With any antique, its availability, its condition and the marketplace at that time will set the price. The tag sale information is here, and the sale starts at 8 a.m. Friday.
