Father-Son Duo Who Shot at Canadian Geese By Walmart Donate $2,500 to Dog Pound: Report

The New Milford pair were licensed to hunt and carry shotguns, but were too close to Danbury Walmart police said.

Danbury, CT — A New Milford father and son who shot at geese behind the Danbury Walmart donated $2,500 to the city dog pound, as required by court order, according to The News Times.

The pair were charged in February with trespass and hunting with a loaded firearm within 500 feet of an occupied building, according to the paper.
