Fire Erupts in Industrial Tank in Danbury: Report
The fire continues to burn inside an industrial "scrubbing" tank in Danbury's Commerce Park.

DANBURY, CT — A fire broke out in an industrial tank in Danbury's Commerce Park Monday morning, reports the News Times. The fire broke out in an exterior "scrubbing" tank filled with carbon, according to Assistant Fire Chief Mark Omasta.
Only one of the three tanks located at the site caught fire Monday. Firefighters are proceeding with caution, as the fire has been contained to the lone tank.
Omasta said opening the tank could make the fire much worse, and that firefighters have poured water into the tank.
