Gucker Sworn In For 2nd Stint, 3rd Term, as Danbury Rep In Hartford
Democratic State Representative Kenneth Gucker was sworn in for his second stint as state representative for the 138th House district.

DANBURY, CT — Democratic State Representative Kenneth Gucker was sworn in for his second stint as a state representative for the 138th House district, covering Danbury.
“I am honored to once again serve the people of Danbury,” Gucker said.
The swearing-in ceremony occurred in the House Chamber on Opening Day of the 2025 Legislative Session.

Gucker will serve as an assistant Majority Leader, and will be a member of the Education, Environment and the Planning and Development Committees. He will also serve as the vice chair of the Government Oversight Committee.
This will be Gucker’s third term as the state representative for the 138th House District. He was elected to his first two terms in 2018 and 2020, before being defeated by challenger Rachel Chaleski in the 2022 general election. He went on to defeat Chaleski in 2024, regaining his seat.
