Danbury police reported an armed robbery at 1 a.m. Saturday at Speedy Pizza, 134 West St. Police said a white male, six feet tall, wearing a tee shirt, jeans, and a baseball bat pointed a gun at the clerk. He demanded money and fled. Police were unable to find him. This sounds similar to an armed robbery last week at 7-11 on Mill Plain Road.
