Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued For Inland Southern Connecticut
The hazardous weather outlook includes both Thursday and Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

INLAND SECTIONS OF SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT — The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for inland sections of southern Connecticut for Thursday and early Friday.
"Strong gusty winds and a period of moderate to heavy rain is likely tonight into early Friday morning. WPC has the area in a marginal to slight risk of excessive rainfall," the weather service said.

Today: Showers likely, mainly after 5pm. Patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 60. Northeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Tonight: Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 11pm. Low around 55. South wind 10 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

Friday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 63. Breezy, with a south wind 18 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Friday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47. Southwest wind 10 to 13 mph.
