Junior Achievement of Western CT Hosts Career Day

From Junior Achievement of Western Connecticut:

WHO: Junior Achievement of Western CT, students from four area high schools (Bethel, Danbury, Brookfield and Newtown) and local organizations including:

· Guideposts

· Odyssey Logistics & Technology

· WCSU

· Naugatuck Valley Community College

· Ridley-Lowe

· Microsoft

· ASML

· Wells Fargo

WHAT: During 'Career Day' high school students who participate in the Junior Achievement program are able to interact with local professionals and experience hands-on demonstrations and mock interviews to understand more about various careers and jobs. Students at Career Day will also experience JA My Way™, an online interactive way to explore potential future opportunities.

Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton will offer remarks to close the event at 12:30pm.
