"The warrant was a result of the Danbury Police Detective Division establishing that the Juvenile Male had a connection to the homicide of Gabriel Bara-Bardo," said Danbury Police Det. Lt. Christian Carroccio said in a press release. "Additional arrests are anticipated."

The juvenile's role in the case was not immediately released by police. Check back with Patch for updates.

Court records show Massagli and an unidentified teenager attacked Bardo and smashed the windshield of his car on Abbott Street after a marijuana deal. Police allege the teens attacked Bardo after he was found with marijuana by New York State Police in October.

At 5:46 p.m. on Aug. 5, Police found Bardo alone and unconscious next to his running car before he was transported to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined that Bardo's death was caused by a blunt impact to the head.
