Kiwanis Club Announces 'Flags of Valor'
The annual event is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 5 through Saturday, Dec. 3.

The Kiwanis Club of Greater Danbury will be recognizing all veterans with its annual “Flags of Valor” from Saturday, November 5 through Saturday, December 3 on the Historic Society lawn at the north end of the town green, New Milford, CT 06776.
This is the sixth year Kiwanis will be creating a beautiful display of 300 3’x5’ flags in honor of those who have served our country.

Linda Thomas, Danbury Kiwanis president and organizer, said “This multi-town community event is one that has brought many groups together to honor our past veterans, have some fun doing it and raises funds to put back into the communities we support.”
Kiwanis has served the Greater Danbury area for 75 years.

Those interested in purchasing a flag or helping out with the event must call 203-733-3515, email

would like to make a flag donation of $30or more can send it to Kiwanis Club Foundation of
