Man Sold Drugs From Danbury Business: Police
BREAKING: Police say the man also had a pistol with a defaced serial number.

DANBURY, CT — Police say they arrested a Waterbury man after citizens complained he was selling drugs from a business on White Street, according to Danbury Police Det. Lt. Mark Williams. Omar "Gucci" Thomas, 30, of Waterbury was arrested Thursday with marijuana, cocaine, heroin and a loaded pistol with a defaced serial number.
Police say they began investigating Imperial Sound Studios located at 248B White St. after receiving several complaints about Thomas' alleged drug sales. After "detecting activity consistent with drug trafficking," detectives applied for a search warrant.
Thomas was not the owner of the business, according to police.

Thomas was arrested Thursday as he parked in front of the business. Police also arrested Tyreek Wallace, 21, of Waterbury and seized another known drug abuser walking in the area. Police saw the known drug abuser walking directly towards Thomas and making direct eye contact.
Wallace was charged with having a small amount of marijuana, and the known drug abuser was released.

Thomas was charged with several drug sales charges, altering/removing the ID marks of a pistol, criminal possession of a pistol and operating a vehicle with a suspended license. He was held on a $100,000 bond.
