Obituary: Carmen D. Cianflone III, 52, Formerly of Danbury
He had an artistic ability that was visible in his woodworking and drawings.

Carmen D. Cianflone, III, 52, of Naugatuck, beloved son of Carmen D. Jr., and Barbara (Talbot) Cianflone, died peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury on Sunday, August 13, 2017. He was born in Danbury on June 17, 1965 and was a graduate of Danbury High School. He was lovingly known by close family and friends as “Butch.”
Carmen worked as a general contractor in the Danbury area for many years. He possessed an innate talent for mechanics and could fix just about anything. He had an artistic ability that was visible in his woodworking and drawings.
Carmen was an avid guitarist who loved music, especially the Beatles, Queen, Elvis and the Rolling Stones. He enjoyed cars, motorcycles and boats. He loved his three dogs and his parrot, and all animals.
His happiest moments were spent with his family, enjoying his mother’s home cooked meals.

In addition to his parents, Carmen, Jr. and Barbara; he will be sadly missed by his two daughters, Shannon and her significant other, Juan Morocho, and Carly Cianflone; his grandson, Christian Cianflone; his brother, Christopher Cianflone, Sr., and his wife, Lisa; his nephews, Christopher Jr. “CJ” and Joseph; and niece Nicole. He is also survived by his aunts, Maria Ripoll and her companion, James Pegram, and Lauretta Cianflone; and his cousins, Robert and Maria Coffey, and Thomas Cianflone and his significant other, Nicole Frischkorn.
He was predeceased by his aunt, Suzanne Talbot.

Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Friday, August 18th at 10:30am with Rt. Rev. Michael K. Skrocki, M.Div., JCD of St. Ann Melkite Greek Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 17th between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00pm.
