Pedestrian Struck By Car Was Looking at His Cell Phone: Report
A pedestrian was seriously injured after he was hit by a car on Sunday on Main Street in Danbury.

Danbury, CT — A New Milford man was seriously injured after he was struck by a car on Sunday on Main Street in Danbury, according to The News Times.
Police said that 25-year-old Matthew Taylor, of New Milford, was walking on Main Street and crossed Garamella Boulevard while 55-year-old Manuel Morgado of Wilton was turning left onto Garmella, did not see Taylor and struck him with his vehicle, according to the report.

An eyewitness told police Taylor was looking at his cell phone as he was crossing the street, according to the report.
