The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for northern sections of Fairfield County. Here's what you need to know.

NORTHERN FAIRFIELD COUNTY, CT — The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for inland sections of Fairfield County.
"There is a chance for thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday evening. There is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms with the main threat being damaging winds," the weather service said in an update.
The chance for rain showers and thunderstorms increases after 2 p.m. Tuesday and the best odds are after 5 p.m., the weather service said.

It looks like a warm week, with temperatures around 85 to 90 degrees each day. Tuesday and Wednesday may approach 90 degrees.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 66. South wind 6 to 10 mph.

Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tuesday Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 8pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 8pm and 2am. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 67. South wind 5 to 9 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
