Thomas 'Mountain' Rogers, 53, Passed Away Unexpectedly

'Mountain' had a long career as a milkman at Marcus Dairy and in his spare time enjoyed many outdoor activities, especially fishing.

DANBURY, CT — Thomas Steven Rogers, 53, passed away unexpectedly on July 16th, 2016.

A lifelong Danbury resident, he was born on December 6th, 1962 to the late Ellis and Christine (Khornhaus) Rogers.

He had a long career as a milkman at Marcus Dairy and in his spare time enjoyed many outdoor activities, especially fishing.

Known for his long beard and bandanas, he was fondly given the nickname "Mountain" amongst friends. He was a gentle soul, with soft eyes and an all belly chuckle that will be missed.

Thomas is survived by his children, Jessica Abney, Carli Montini (Rich), and Keith Rogers; his grandchildren Haleigh, Mariah, Juliannah and Mark Abney; his brothers Raymond Paul Rogers (Maryann) and Ellis Bernard Rogers (Donna); nephews and nieces Steven, Chris, Michelle, Stephanie, and Dawn.
