Two More Men Arrested for Alleged Sex Acts in Danbury Park: Police
Police have arrested 10 men so far as a result of a months-long investigation at activity at Farrington Woods Park, 127 Mill Plain Road.
Danbury, CT — Danbury police have arrested two more men for engaging in sexual activity at Farrington Woods Park at 127 Mill Plain Road.

On Tuesday at approximately 6:38 p.m. officers observed a man, later identified as Richard Moynihan, 75, of Stormvillle, New York, park his red Chevy Colorado in the parking lot and walk up a trail. Soon after, a second man, later identified as Ferney Arcila-Hernandez, 52, of Mahopac, New York, parked a white Honda CRV in the parking lot and walked the same trail. Officers said they followed Arcila-Hernandez and found the two men engaged in a sexual act in a clearing off the main path.
Police said that both men were arrested and charged with public indecency. They were released on $500 bonds and are scheduled to appear in court on July 19.

Over the past several weeks the Danbury Police Community Conditions Unit have been conducting a surveillance operation in Farrington Woods Park located at 127 Mill Plain Road. Police said there have been multiple complaints that park goers are being solicited for sex acts by males parked in the parking lot. Other complainants told police they have observed adult males engaged in sex acts in the woods and in the parking lot area.
On July 1, 2016 at approximately 1:15 p.m., officers observed multiple vehicles enter and park in the lot, including a grey Toyota Camry. The operator of the vehicle was later identified as Marvin Iraheta, 42, of Danbury. Police said Iraheta exited his vehicle, walked on a trail into the woods and was soon followed by a man identified as Bruno Butera, 61, of Danbury, who exited his vehicle and walked into the woods on the same trail, police said. Officers said they observed Iraheta and Butera standing in a clearing in the woods engaged in a sexual act. Both Butera and Iraheta are being charged with public indecency and were released on a $500 bond.

On Monday, July 4, 2016 at approximately 1:40 p.m., officers observed Rafael Neto, 40, of South Salem, NY walk in parking lot area, proceed down a trail from the parking area, followed by Henry Joyner, 24, of Danbury. Officers said they observed the pair in the woods engaged in a sexual activity. Both Neto and Joyner were placed under arrest and charged with public indecency, and held on $500 bond.
