Pettit argues, "...Google, in an effort to ensure a quality search engine browsing experience for their users, has been slowly at first, more recently much more often, rewarding websites and blogs whose content is continuously updated and changed, and “punishing” those sites whose content has not been altered since the day they launched their websites."
This sounds like sage advice for anyone trying to drive traffic to their site.
