For the slightly older crowd, an “after hours” event that will begin at 9 p.m. will include a pool tournament, lip sync battles, a cash bar and coffeehouse performances by WCSU students and staff, also in the Midtown Student Center. Only college students and adults may attend this portion of the programming.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children 6-18 and WCSU students with valid I.D. Children 5 and under are free. The maximum price per family is $25. Tickets will be sold at the door.
The WCSU Child Care Center is licensed by the State of Connecticut and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The center provides high quality, developmentally appropriate experiences for children ages 3 through 5. While rates are reasonable, some adults attending the university require financial assistance for their child care needs while attending class. Proceeds from the event will help fund grants to cover these costs.
The WCSU Student Government Association has partnered with the Child Care Center Board to create this event. For more information about the Child Care Center, visit www.wcsu.edu/childcare/. For more information about the event, email campuscenter@wcsu.edu.
