Xanax Dealer Arrested After Search: Danbury Police

Police say the arrest was a result of a weeks-long investigation into citizen complaints.

DANBURY, CT — A city man was arrested Saturday on Xanax selling charges after a search of his Town Hill Avenue residence, according to Danbury Police Lt. Mark Williams. A search of the home of Jason Allan Perez, 24, yielded a "substantial quantity of illegal drugs," according to Williams. Police spokesman Det. Lt. Christian Carroccio told Patch that Perez was selling Xanax pills.

Carroccio also said Perez was in possession of marijuana and cocaine.

Police say the warrant was the result of citizen complaints related to selling drugs in the city, and surveillance of Perez engaging in activity "consistent with drug trafficking."
