Attack of the Bichon Dogs!

Move over, big dog — little dogs movin' in!

A Greenwich man, 64, was just commenting on how friendly his two Bichon dogs were after meeting another dog walker last Thursday in Tilley Pond Park.

Then he ruined it all by letting the animals off their leashes.

At which point, according to Darien police, the dogs charged and attacked the other dog walker’s dog, a three-year-old (and presumably much larger) chocolate-colored Labrador retriever.

At which point the other dog walker, a 56-year-old woman from Stamford, reached down (presumably way, way down, given the size of these little fellas) to try to separate the attacking dogs from her dog. Her dog’s right hind leg was hurt in the incident, according to police.

At which point she was bitten in the middle finger of her left hand, with a wound puncturing her skin.

At which point, presumably, she used the rest of her fingers to call police.

Both dogs had to be quarantined for 14 days. They were taken to a veterinarian hospital for the duration.

The Darien animal control officer will investigate the matter further.
