Boutique Darien Office Building Sold For Over $4M

DARIEN, CT — CBRE, a commercial real estate services and investment firm, recently announced the $4.3 million sale of a boutique office building in Darien.

Located at 23 Old Kings Highway adjacent to the new Corbin District, the building is a "train-centric property" measuring 25,713 square feet. It's 86 percent leased, according to CBRE, and has "optimal regional accessibility" via Interstate-95 and the nearby Darien Train Station.

There are also numerous restaurant and retail options within the immediate area.

"23 Old Kings Highway’s below-market rents and location in the redeveloping Corbin District provides an optimal environment for the buyer to grow income in the future," said Jeffrey Dunne, one of the CBRE representatives in the sale.

CBRE also announced the $9.3 million sale of a 17,081 square foot building at 39 Lewis St., which is located less than one block from Greenwich Avenue.

"These transactions are a testament to Greenwich and Darien as being extremely desirable business destinations for discerning companies, which demand high quality office space within development-restricted markets," said Steven Bardsley, also of CBRE.

The identities of the sellers and buyers were not immediately announced.
