COVID-19 Cases Continue To Decrease In Darien

Case counts have decreased for the fourth consecutive week, according to the latest update.

DARIEN, CT — The number of COVID-19 cases in Darien continues to decrease, according to the latest data.

From June 7 to June 13, there were 37 new cases reported. In the two weeks prior, there were 44 and 48 cases respectively. A spike was reported in mid-May, with a high of 117 cases from May 10-16.

The positivity rate also continues to fall. As of June 13, there was a positivity rate of 8.47 percent in Darien, down from a high of 17.84 percent at the end of May.

In Darien Public Schools, there have been 19 new cases reported from June 7-13. Darien High School saw the most with 12.
