Darien Democrats Endorse Candidates For November Election
This year's municipal election is slated for Tuesday, Nov. 4.
DARIEN, CT — The Darien Democratic Town Committee caucused last week at Town Hall to endorse candidates for the upcoming November municipal election.
The caucus was chaired by DTC Chair Rob Richards, with Cindy Brown serving as caucus secretary.
The following candidates were nominated by acclamation:

- Adam Balgach – Planning and Zoning Commission
- Glenn Ritch – Board of Assessment Appeals
- Kadi Lublin – Board of Education
- Millyn Gaaserud – Board of Finance
- Sarah Neumann and Michael Burke – Board of Selectmen
"All of our candidates bring deep expertise, commitment, and a strong sense of service to our town,” said Richards in a prepared statement. "We are proud to present individuals who reflect the values and vision of Darien Democrats."
According to a news release, Richards concluded the caucus by reaffirming the importance of civic participation and competitive elections.

"Democracy cannot exist without choice—and as we work to strengthen the foundation of our Democratic family, we must continue encouraging more voices and engagement in every race," he said.
