Darien To Offer More Free Mental Health First Aid Training Sessions
The town is offering training sessions in July.
DARIEN, CT — The town of Darien is offering a third round of free mental health first aid training sessions in July.
Registrants may elect a single day eight-hour class, or a two cay class of four hours each. A single day session will be offered July 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and split days on July 13 and July 14, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A mental health first aid session is an eight-hour certification course that helps individuals and communities better understand mental health issues and respond accordingly to others.

Seating is limited to 30 registrants. The program is being paid for by ARPA funds.
