Darien Woman, 60, Arrested For DUI In Wilton: Police

Police say the woman did not stop for a half mile while an officer was trying to pull her over.

WILTON, CT — A Darien woman was arrested for driving under the influence in Wilton on Oct. 12. Police say they stopped Nancy Cahoon, 60, at 9:30 p.m. for a complaint originating out of Ridgefield.

Police say they tried to stop Cahoon's car traveling south on Danbury Road towards Old Highway, but she did not stop for a half mile. Her blood alcohol content was registered at .1635, twice the legal limit of .08.

Cahoon was charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive in the proper lane.

She was given a $260 bond and is due in court on Oct. 23
