
Natalia Lynn Melia, 41 of Darien, Connecticut passed away unexpectedly and peacefully at home on December 8, 2025.
She was born December 20, 1983 to proud and loving parents, Caryn Lynn Diller Melia and Nicola Melia, at Stamford Hospital. There are no words to describe our devastating loss.
Natalia had the brightest soul and most endearing personality. While her life ended far too soon, her hobbies and interests were endless and extensive. She was an avid book reader and traveler. Her trips to Asia, Europe and South America granted her to photograph the beautiful beach attractions, landscapes and historical landmarks that she enjoyed sharing with friends and family. marathons, such as the Big Sur International Marathon in California and Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati.
Blessed with an infectious laugh, outgoing personality, quick wit, and sense of humor, she was able to make lifelong friends wherever she went.

While having many places she called "Home", Natalia cherished her time in New York, taking advantage of the unique artistic and culinary opportunities that surrounded her. She also enjoyed visiting her family in
Connecticut; taking her family dogs on long walks around town. Also a beach lover, you could find her at Pear Tree Beach, book in hand, all summer long.
She graduated from Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. and was an active Alumni contributor.
Upon graduating she apprenticed at CBS and became a member of the Writers Guild of America East. She honed her film production talents and furthered her career at Sirens Media, Investigative Discovery True Crime series, Vanity Fair Confidential and Comedy Central.
Natalia's light shined brightest at home, in the presence and embrace of family, her love felt strongest. Above all else, she cherished her late mother. Her bond with her nephew Luke who she adored, brought her much joy. She doted upon him daily with charming anecdotes.
Natalia is survived by her father Nicola, two loving brothers Matthew and wife Christine, Mark and partner
Olivia in addition to extended family of aunts and uncles, and many cousins and friends near and far.
The Family will receive friends at the Lawrence Funeral Home at 2119 Boston Post Rd. Darien, Ct 06820. Wednesday December 17, 2025 from 4-8pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Thomas More located at 374 Middlesex Rd, Darien Ct, on Thursday December 18 at 10:30AM followed by a burial at Fairfield Memorial Park Cemetery in Stamford CT.
