Raymond James “Dusty” Burger, Jr., passed away on December 13, 2025. Born on May 3, 1957, he was the son of the late Raymond and Ruth Burger and the twin brother of Todd Burger, who predeceased him. He graduated from Darien High School in 1975 and attended Temple University, where he studied physical therapy, which he put to use caring for his mother and uncle for an extended period in their later years.
Recently, he has been employed at Cartright Towers in Bridgeport, where he has been a popular and welcoming presence to residents.
A lifelong resident of Darien, he played High School sports and participated in local soccer leagues for many years.

He is survived by a sister, Barbara R. Sauerhoff, and her husband and their son.
