Mental Health First Aid Training Sessions Scheduled In Darien
Similar to CPR training, mental health first aid training helps people who don't have clinical training to assist others in distress.
DARIEN, CT — Darien Human Services is offering mental health first aid training over two days this month.
The sessions are scheduled for May 13 and May 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at EMS Post 53, 0 Ledge Road.
Mental health first aid training is an interactive course designed to give members of the public key skills to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.
