Portion Of Train Station Parking Lot To Close For Paving Work: Town Of Darien

Darien has replaced curbing at the train station, but milling and paving work remains, the town said this week.

DARIEN, CT — The Town of Darien announced this week it has replaced the curbing on the north (Heights Road) side of the north parking lot and crews will now resurface portions of the parking lot.

According to the map, the red area on the south side of the tracks near Post 53 and the blue area on the north side of the tracks will be closed for milling, paving and line striping from Thursday, Aug. 14 through Sunday, Aug. 17.

The green area will remain available for parking throughout paving operations, the town said. Pay-to-park fees remain in effect.
