Dolores L. Vollenweider, 95, died Oct. 7, 2025; a devoted homemaker and mother who sang alto in the Noroton Presbyterian Church Choir for six decades, she enjoyed cooking, baking, bowling, painting, and playing piano.

Anthony "Tony" Samuel Albero, 98, who died Sept. 15, 2025, was a U.S. Army sergeant and World War II veteran who later worked at Yale and Towne and enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, and playing pinochle.

Harriette "Happy" Clarke Thorne, 100, who died Sept. 6, 2025, was an English graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, longtime Noroton Presbyterian Church member, and active volunteer involved with the Red Cross, DAR, Chi Omega alumni, Sweet Adelines, scouting, community groups, travel, and golf.

Douglas Campbell III, 72, died Sept. 2, 2025; an executive coach, entrepreneur, professor, author, and national speaker, he founded The Success Coach, taught MBA courses for two decades, co-authored academic works, led community business programs, and pursued passions for travel, golf, and mentoring others.

Frank Badart Kemp, 81, died Aug. 30, 2025; a former Army officer and information systems executive who served as CIO for several major organizations, he was an avid sailor and community volunteer who taught boating, led the Darien Arts Center, and served on the town’s Representative Town Meeting.

Sheila A. Duffy, 90, died Aug. 28, 2025; a longtime paralegal with Zotos International and later an administrator for the Stamford Board of Education, she was also active in local schools, community service, and church choir, and found joy in family life, holidays, and volunteering.

Nancy White Burden Tapley, 93, died Aug. 24, 2025; a former advertising professional and award-winning realtor, she was active in civic and charitable organizations, served on the University of Vermont Alumnae Council, and enjoyed community life and gardening.

Herbert “Scott” Fritts, 69, died Aug. 20, 2025; a former AIG executive and co-founder of BlueChip Underwriting Services, he was also a dedicated volunteer EMT, sports enthusiast, and devoted father who found joy in family, racquet sports, and supporting his children’s athletic pursuits.

Pearl Kaminsky, 94, died Aug. 17, 2025; a longtime buyer and salesperson at Ethel Allen, Nora Zandre, and Elsebe’s, she was known for her keen sense of style, professionalism, and enjoyment of helping clients express themselves through fashion.
